Colors On The Lanai metal print by Don Harvie. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.
The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.
Metal prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Artist's Description
Don Harvie original watercolor painting. Don was the uncle to Victoria Mackenzie of the artist duo Mackenzie-Childs. Don would occasionally use pieces of their pottery, as subjects for his paintings. This was a pot hanging on the veranda of their home in California, that Don's wife made from broken pieces of M/C pottery. Mackenzie-Childs art collectors would own a truly unique piece with a giclee' or a one of a kind, original painting!
Donald Harvie began painting in watercolors, following his retirement from the business world in 1992. He attended countless workshops all over the world and soon began entering National Exhibitions 2004. His first medium, photography, sets the inspirational baseline for his work. His paintings are modeled from the photographs that he captures. His work is often characterized as portraying slices of life. He defines himself as a colorist, working in pure transparent watercolor.
